All sin, and all reoccurring sin, all past sins, in fact every time we fail in word or deed is washed clean by taking the Holy Bread and the Holy Wine in remembrance of Jesus sacrifice.
We all sin every day, we know that we shouldn’t but we do. You may think how can I be righteous? But you cannot be righteous and sin not, because there is only one that is righteous and we rely on His righteousness and not our own.
All our power to live this life and to destroy evil spirits that try to enslave us comes by our daily communion with Jesus Christ. By partaking of the bread and the wine, we destroy all evil spirits that cause us to sin, there should be not one day that goes by that you or I should miss taking the mighty ordinance of life.
The bread and wine is your daily bread, if you are sick, this is your first and most powerful attack on your sickness. If you have a weakness or any failing in your life like addictions this is your first and most powerful attack on your addictions.
If you feel that anyone is attacking you with evil witchcraft or just nasty people which hate you for no apparent reason, then take the bread and the wine daily and you will see Christ destroy that evil too.
When we begin to take the bread and the wine we first pour water from a vessel that is new, that water must be blessed by prayer, put your right thumb in this water saying, “ Jesus please bless this water”. Then say “water be blessed”.
Pour some of this water on your hands to cleanse them. Then light a new candle which reminds us that Jesus is the light of the world, then place some bread in a new bowl and the wine in a new cup, set it before you, kneel down, put your hands together, close your eyes, then pray “Father please forgive me my sins, cleanse me and I shall be white as snow”.
Then pray for your family, then say psalm 91, which will protect you from all evil that may come to you that day. Then open your eyes, stand up, blow out the candle and pour some more blessed water on your hands, now you can begin your day completely clean from head to toe.
This will only cleanse you and protect you for twenty four hours, you must repeat it every day.
May Adonai richly bless you, for your love and obedience to Him in Christ Jesus name, Yeshua Hameshia.

When you know His sounds of His Letters you can spell and pronounce every word easily.
It won’t be like the scribes or the Hebrew of today, for it will become personal to you and your Father Abba in Heaven, and He will know what you mean, and will bless your faithfulness with his great blessings as He blessed Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who were before you.
The angels in Heaven will be amazed when they hear you speak the Holy Letters which you join together to form the Words of Abba.
Just like your father Abraham spoke and on hearing them the angels will fall prostrate before YHWH in adoration, and in turn also fall prostrate before you, YHWH ‘S ultimate creation.
The Children of Elohim who are made in the image of the Creator.
For all thing were made in Heaven and earth by YHWH through Yeshua, to worship the Children of YHWH, and in turn all of the Children of YHWH fall prostrate before ADONAI and His only begotten Son Yeshua, and worship Him.

I would like to reveal to you a great truth, that your healing is all around you. God has not abandoned you, He has created a wonderful world full of herbs and plants which can and will heal every disease known to man. But you must believe by faith that He has done this.

Jesus was on His way to preach the gospel to the people of Israel, when He came across a woman who cried out saying, “Lord help me.” She needed the Lord’s help because her daughter was afflicted with an evil spirit.

She was very persistent in her faith, even when she heard Jesus say, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel,” {Matthew 15 v 24}. But these words of Jesus did not put her off, she had great faith, the kind of Faith that was strong and persistent, she knew that God was merciful. So she came to Jesus and fell down at His feet, and worshipped Him saying, “Lord help me.”

Again she heard Jesus say, “It is not meet to take the children’s bread and to cast it to the dogs.” and she said, “Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters table.” Then Jesus answered and said unto her, “O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt.” And her daughter was made whole from that very hour,
{Matthew 15 v 26-28}.
I am reminded of a person who received a wonderful healing from Jesus in Luke 18, who heard that Jesus was passing by. He too just cried out saying, “Jesus thou Son of David have mercy upon me,” but the people around him said, “keep quiet.” Well, isn’t that just like it is today, people would like for us to keep quiet and not believe that God would help us.

Well, the blind man was certainly not going to give up, for he was persistent. He cried out again,” Jesus have mercy upon me, Lord help me,” Jesus saw his faith, and said, “Receive thy sight, thy faith hath saved thee.” And immediately he received his sight. Praise God, so just be persistent, do not give up, just pray, “Lord, help me.”

Now many of you will know that I suffered for nearly eight years with great pain and agony, but during this time I ceased not to cry unto the Lord day and night for His mercy. I cannot tell you of the times that I have cried, “Lord help me.” And now Jesus has delivered me from all my troubles, yes, He did it for me, and He will do it for you.

For we can see in these scriptures which speak of the persistent faith of God’s people that God will stop what He is doing and will attend to you because faith will always gets His attention. So if you are in need today, stop Jesus, do not let Him pass by, do not let people tell you that He is too busy to hear your hearts cry, He is waiting this moment your needs to supply, so reach out and touch the Lord as He goes by. Jesus will make you whole this very hour, dear child of God, if you persistently cry out, “Lord help me.”

“Be pleased O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me,”--- “Fear thou not, for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. {Psalm 40 v 13}, {Isaiah 41 v 10}.

Do Not Be Surprised

Do not be surprised when some church leaders do not accept you, for there has always been people who hold high positions in churches who speak evil of men and women of God. Many of God’s people over the centuries have come up against people like that.

We read in 3 John v 9 & 10, of an elder called Diotrophes, who with foolish and malicious words spoke evil of the Apostles and who would not receive them or their teachings. He loved to have pre-eminence among the local church at that time, and if any did not obey him, he would have them thrown out of the church. Have things really changed today?

Dear loved ones, the Lord knows what is going on, if people will not receive you, then wipe the dust off feet and go your way. There are Christians in this world who will welcome you with open arms, and will pray with you and encourage you. I am reminded of Isaac’s servants who were told to dig for a well in the valley of Gerar where Abraham his father had dug well’s before.

On digging the first well, the herdsmen who lived there strove with them, and said, “this well is our’s”, so Isaac’s servants dug another well, and again, there was trouble. Now, Isaac did not give up, he tried again and on digging the third well, he found water, but most important of all, this time he found peace. For no-one forbade him to draw water from that well, “So he gave it the name Rehoboth, and said for now the Lord has made room for us and we shall be fruitful in the land”. {Genesis 26 v 22}.

So it is with some of you, eventually you will find Christians who will accept you and care for you, and appreciate you for who you are. Dear brothers and sisters, we believe that by you receiving these gospel letters, that you have fellowship with us and we with you, regardless of whether we attend church together or not, for we are all the true church of God who confess that Jesus is Lord. May the Lord richly bless you always.

Matthew 26:39, “Oh my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: Nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”

I will never forget the time of learning how I had to surrender my will to God. It was a time during those seven years of affliction, which plagued my life. It was a truly horrific time for my family and I.

I received many iron infusions, at Poole hospital, walking down those long corridors was near impossible for me to do because of my lack of breath. I really hated doing this, they would hook me up for a transfusion, the needle would cause severe bruising as it entered my veins. Many times leaning against the corridor walls, pale as a ghost, saying, “Lord, why do I have to do this, why don’t you give me more iron in my blood?”

Then one time I prayed “Well Lord, if you want me to do this, if this is your will for me to have these infusions, then I surrender to you.” That was the very last time that I needed any more iron in my blood, and my breath returned to me, and I never needed to return again for any more infusions, the Lord completely healed me, after saying “I surrender to you Lord.”All to Jesus I surrender all to Jesus I freely give.

Now Christ had to surrender His will to His Father completely, so that if we will surrender our lives to Him, and totally trust Him for all that He has accomplished on that cross, then healings and blessings will abound for us. For whatever comes our way we will have the victory, because Christ has the victory over all the powers of darkness.

Dear Christians, today you may say, “Why have I got to go through this trial,” as you cry unto the Lord. Well, I can say from experience that Jesus will be with you, and bring you out of that fiery furnace, just like He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and brought them out. You may be in a place where you just do not want to be, just like I was, now this will be a time for you to surrender your will to Christ, and say, “ Lord if it’s your will for me to go through this fiery furnace, then your will be done.” You can be assured of this that Jesus will bring you out just like He did for countless others who have put their trust in Him.

Sometimes through testing times I go, dark seems the way, and full of woe; but in the furnace though I be, my great Physician healeth me, Lord, I would spread this truth abroad, the mighty power of thy word; It’s just the same, the blind now see, and demons at thy presence flee, for sin and sickness doth depart, when thou doth reign within my heart; and I from all the curse am free, since Christ, my Saviour healeth me.

Temptation

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape that ye may be able to bear it.” 1 Corinthians 10:13.

The meaning of the word temptation in the English dictionary is that temptation is an enticement to do evil. Now, temptations can come to us in many ways, usually when we are at our lowest, when we are discouraged or downcast. Temptation can be evil thoughts of any kind; also they can come in the form of the symptoms of sickness to make us disbelieve that God can get us well again. We have all been there, yes, in unbelief, but we must not believe any other word other than what God has said in the Holy Scriptures.

Do you remember how Jesus defeated satan in the wilderness, by speaking the Word of God? He said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Don’t forget Jesus was very weak and hungry; He was at His lowest, that is when satan comes to you saying, “it is hopeless, you are finished, it is all over.” My friend the devil is a liar. David the shepherd boy said, “God delivered me from the paw of the lion, and the paw of the bear, surely He will deliver me from this uncircumcised Philistine
(Goliath).” Surely God will deliver you from your problem, so, shout it out,

“SURELY GOD WILL DELIVER ME.”
Jesus said, “Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you.”

Now God has provided us a way out of all our problems, if it be temptations of wicked thoughts, or symptoms of some sickness, which the Bible says comes to all mankind, and that way is through faith in His Word, and what Christ has accomplished for us at Calvary.

The Bible tells us that the great tempter is the devil. Do you remember how he deceived Eve in the garden? Eve said unto the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of tree’s of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it lest you die, and the serpent said unto the woman, “ Ye shall not surely die.” Genesis ch 3: 3, 4. By listening to the serpent instead of God, it brought sin and eventually death.

So it is with temptation to do evil, the tempter will say, “it is only a small sin, every one else does it,” but the Bible says, “Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?” we must resist all temptations to do evil. And it is the same with the symptoms of some devastating disease that comes upon you, it must be resisted. The devil will bring evil reports to you from the mouths of men, to get you to doubt God’s Word, so that he can kill, steal and destroy your life. Again I say he is a liar, the Bible says “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers us out of them all.” Psalm 34:19 “With long life will I satisfy him. and show him my salvation.” Psalm 91:16.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed trusting in the Lord. But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely. and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Blessed Assurance

Today there are many leaders in our Churches that have some knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, but do not have the blessed assurance of the living Christ living in their hearts.

Through one way or another they have heard and accepted the knowledge of God, and their knowledge can be quite outstanding at times but they have not accepted Christ personally as their Lord and Saviour.

Jesus spoke about this type of people in St John 5:39-40. “Search the scriptures: for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me that ye might have life.”

Many of these leaders who hold prominent positions in our churches will speak great words of vanity, telling us how to be rich, trying to make us dissatisfied with what we have, yes, teaching great error, they promise freedom but they themselves are servants of corruption.

When they first heard the Word of God they embraced it, and it did clean up their lives, yet, they only embraced the knowledge of Christ, not Christ Himself, by repenting and making Jesus the Lord of their lives.

The scripture says that they will be entangled again and overcome by wickedness, and their end will be worse than their beginning. “For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the Holy commandment delivered unto them.” 2 Peter 2:21.

We can tell the difference between those who have a religious spirit {some knowledge of Christ}, or those who have the Spirit of Christ {born again, Spirit filled, Bible believing Christians}. The easiest way to know the true Christians is in the way that they bare fruit in obeying Christ’s commandments, for the true meaning of the word Christian is a follower of Christ.

One of the biggest, deceiving lies that the devil has ever orchestrated in this world today is that many believe that the knowledge of the scriptures, is enough to save them, when in fact they are only saved by a personal experience of Jesus Christ Himself living, dwelling and reigning within them.

For it is written, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10: 9& 10.

You can see from this scripture very plainly that we must not only confess with our mouth the knowledge of God, but we must also believe in our hearts, which makes us true followers of Christ.

That is why even a young child who has learned very little Bible scriptures, but has received Jesus into their heart are saved so wonderfully when they received the truth of the gospel, Jesus said in Matthew 18:3, “Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”

We must witness to those who have the knowledge to go all the way by receiving Jesus into their hearts fully, so that they will have the blessed assurance. We see many responding to alter calls, with no change in there lives. but this won’t save them.
We see many raising their hands in services and great meetings, also with no change, but this won’t save them.

Yes, it may be a witness of receiving the knowledge, but, my friend only a truly repentant heart given to Jesus Christ can ever save you. Then you will receive from Him the blessed assurance that Jesus is yours, your Lord, your Saviour, your Redeemer, you’re everything.

All Things New

All Things New, today there is a very evil doctrine being taught in some of our churches, by some very prominent preachers. They have decided to ignore God’s Word concerning what He is going to do with this earth. I guess that you could call them the green preachers, well, you certainly couldn’t call them gospel preachers.

The Lord said, “.... The heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgement and perdition of ungodly men...... The heaven shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burnt up.” 2 Peter 3:7, 2 Peter3:10.

The Lord said, also not only the earth shall He destroy, but the heavens also shall be destroyed -- even the heavens are not clean in God’s eyes. “The heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat.” 2 Peter 3: 12.

Now this is how it shall be with this old earth, I heard a preacher say, “God is going to renovate this earth.” How foolish, God never fixes up old things, behold our God makes all things new, hallelujah, praise God. Jesus told us in His parables that you cannot patch up an old garment with a new piece of cloth, and you cannot pour new wine into old wine bottles. You see Jesus said we must have a new garment and new wine bottles that has always been the way that God has done things.

We who have the witness of the Holy Ghost in our hearts know that God has promised a new heaven and a new earth, wherein righteousness shall dwell, and the glory of God and of His Son Jesus Christ shall be in it. There shall be no more tears, no more death, or sorrow, crying, and pain, for all things will be burnt up, and finished, and will never be remembered ever again. For our God is a fountain of life, and we are His children, made possible through the sacrifice of His dear Son, who gave His life to save us all.

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” Revelation 21:1.

The Lord has said in His Word that He is going to give you a new name, Rev 2:17 a new song, Rev 5:9 praise God it just gets better and better, a new heaven and a new earth, Rev 21:1 and a new Jerusalem which will come down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband, Rev21: 2.

“And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new”. Revelation 21:5.

Prophecy 3 - 12 - 07

The Lord said,
“The Lord has given a command to the enemies of the cross, wake up ye mighty men of war, prepare yourselves, come to the place where I shall slaughter you. Make weapons of war in your factories, say to yourselves that you are strong, assemble yourselves against my people, and the people of Israel.

I will judge you all as you surround Israel, your blood will overflow the land because your wickedness is great.”
“I will judge you in the valley of Decision, these are the end times spoken of by the prophet Joel 3 v 9-21. From Israel my voice shall be heard from the city of Jerusalem, it will be a time when the heaven and the earth will shake with a mighty shaking.

For war shall be in the sky and in the earth, the Christians will put their trust in Christ for they know that He is their hope and salvation, and Christ Jesus is the strength of the children of Israel.

By these things the world will know that I am the Lord Jesus Christ your God, who dwells in Zion my Holy mountain. “The people of Jerusalem will then be Holy. The wicked shall not be found in that land anymore. A time of great joy, and peace and prosperity will flow like a mighty river over all Israel, coming from the house of the Lord, and filling every valley.”

“The nations that have raised their hands against my people of Judah, and have shed their innocent blood, shall be made a desolate wilderness. My people will dwell in the city of Jerusalem, from generation to generation, for I will forgive them and cleanse them, for the Lord Jesus Christ dwelleth in Zion.” Thus saith the Lord.

This prophecy came to me in the morning of the third of December, Billy.

Living A Victorious Life

How do we live a victorious life in Christ Jesus? Now that we are saved we no longer want to do the things that we did in the past, but more than likely we find ourselves committing the same sins that Jesus delivered us from again, and we feel so defeated, our joy in the Lord disappears and our Christian walk becomes a continual struggle.

Well, the Word of God has the answer, we must remember that Jesus not only took all our sins upon the cross, and all our sicknesses, but also made provision for us to live the rest of our lives on earth victoriously.

Let me explain, if you find that you are doing things that you do not want to do because the flesh is weak, then cry out to Jesus, and make this your prayer, “Jesus, take this evil away from me, I cannot stop, my flesh is weak, but you are strong, my spirit is willing, but my flesh is weak, for no longer I live, but you live in me, my life is crucified with you, and I cannot live without your grace in me. So you Lord Jesus break this sin that tries to make me obey it, and set me free, for if the Son shall make me free I shall be free indeed,” Amen.

Dear Loved Ones, we are not the first Christians to fail, but remember it is Christ’s faith, power and strength, yes, His grace that will get us through, call out to Him, because you cannot defeat sin or sickness in our own strength, the Bible says that the flesh profiteth nothing, it is the Spirit that giveth life, and the Spirit is Jesus, and it is Jesus that wants to reign in you, and give you the power to live victoriously.

The scriptures that we quote from the Bible are written for one reason and one reason only, and that is to point us to Christ, from Genesis to Revelation it cries Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. He was the answer for your salvation, and healing and He is the answer for you to live a good victorious Christian life. Jesus said, “without me ye can do nothing.” {St John 15 v 5}.

The Bible says in Philippians 1 v 6, “Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ,” which means that the Holy Ghost has called you in the beginning to accept Christ, and it is He that will bring us through to the time of Jesus return. For He is the Spirit of promise, and He is our guarantee that He will never ever leave us or forsake us.

Let us always remember that when we accepted Jesus as Saviour, the Bible says that our old life was crucified with Him on that cross at Calvary. But now we live, yet not ourselves but Christ liveth in us, and the life that we now live in the flesh, we live by the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave His life for us.

My song shall be of Jesus; His mercy crowns my days, He fills my cup with blessings,
And tunes my heart to praise; My song shall be of Jesus, The precious Lamb of God,
Who gave Himself my ransom, And bought me with His blood.

Do Not Be Surprised

Do not be surprised when some church leaders do not accept you, for there has always been people who hold high positions in churches who speak evil of men and women of God. Many of God’s people over the centuries have come up against people like that. We read in 3 John v 9 & 10, of an elder called Diotrophes, who with foolish and malicious words spoke evil of the Apostles and who would not receive them or their teachings. He loved to have pre-eminence among the local church at that time, and if any did not obey him, he would have them thrown out of the church. Have things really changed today?

Dear loved ones, the Lord knows what is going on, if people will not receive you, then wipe the dust off feet and go your way. There are Christians in this world who will welcome you with open arms, and will pray with you and encourage you. I am reminded of Isaac’s servants who were told to dig for a well in the valley of Gerar where Abraham his father had dug well’s before. On digging the first well, the herdsmen who lived there strove with them, and said, “this well is our’s”, so Isaac’s servants dug another well, and again, there was trouble.

Now, Isaac did not give up, he tried again and on digging the third well, he found water, but most important of all, this time he found peace. For no-one forbade him to draw water from that well, “So he gave it the name Rehoboth, and said for now the Lord has made room for us and we shall be fruitful in the land”. {Genesis 26 v 22}.

So it is with some of you, eventually you will find Christians who will accept you and care for you, and appreciate you for who you are. Dear brothers and sisters, we believe that by you receiving these gospel letters, that you have fellowship with us and we with you, regardless of whether we attend church together or not, for we are all the true church of God who confess that Jesus is Lord. May the Lord richly bless you always.

Amazing Grace

I would like to share a testimony with you, I was asked to preach in a Dorset village called Lychett Maltravers.

I had never been there before so I decided to visit the church the day before I was scheduled to preach. I found the church down a very narrow lane, I prayed to the Lord and said, “Lord, what word do you want me to preach to these people.” He told me in my mind to enter the church.

On entering the church I met the cleaner, who told me that I was welcome to have a look around.
I walked over to the pulpit and noticed the communion rail, then the Lord began to speak to me again and said, “You see this communion rail,” I replied, “Yes, Lord.” “Well, when you preach tomorrow, you must tell the people that many times in the past they have come to the communion rail to receive the bread and the wine, but this time they must come to receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour, publicly,
for where two or three are gathered together in my name there I am in the midst,” saith the Lord.

Well, the following day I did as the Lord had said, I began to preach my sermon, then I remembered what the Lord had said, so I told them that Jesus is standing by this communion rail, and as they had received the bread and the wine in the past, today, they were to receive Jesus, fully into their lives.

I stood to one side of the rail, and we all began to sing Amazing Grace ! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I’m found, was blind, but now I see. Then one lady who had been attending that church for many years came to the front and knelt down, and gave her life fully to Jesus.

Praise God. It reminds me of a scripture, where Jesus said, “ I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons which need no repentance,” {St Luke 15 v 7}.

Now, for those who did not receive Jesus that day, they became very troubled. I received a letter from one of the Elders who could not understand how I could of heard Jesus speaking to me.

He said, “Who do you think that you are? God doesn’t speak,” Obviously he was not listening to God’s word; I perceived that he to needed to come to Jesus. Another gentleman came to my home, and he was very troubled as well, he said, “Now that this lady is saved, how are you going to disciple her? For we are not going to.”

Well, I thought to myself, it is Jesus who saves, and it is Jesus who keeps us, for Jesus said, “That it is He who has begun a good work in us and it is He who will finish it.” So I guess that this gentleman needed to receive Jesus as well. Maybe many others in that church should have responded to the altar call that day;

my prayer is that they don’t leave it too late. But as for me, I’m going to rejoice with the angels in heaven over that one soul that was saved. Praise God.

Oh Jesus, Lord and Saviour, I give myself to Thee; For thou, in Thine atonement,
Didst give thyself for me; I own no other Master, My heart shall be Thy throne,
My life I give, henceforth to live, O Christ, for Thee alone.

Cornwall Visions and Dreams

In Cornwall visions and dreams and words of knowledge are common among the Cornish Christians. Many will testify of God’s speaking to them and showing them visions just like the early church experienced.

In my own family this was very prominent, my mother would tell me how she would hear angels singing praises to God as she walked in the fields, and my grandmother saw a vision of Jesus, walking down the corridor in hospital when she was very poorly. She soon began to recover after seeing Jesus.

When I was about twelve years of age, I experienced God in a very powerful way. I was coming home from school, it was about a mile walk to my farmhouse, and the clouds became very dark, then a hailstorm started to fall, stinging my face, lightening tore across the sky, it was like being on a battlefield.

I hid myself behind a garage wall for shelter, but then things became much worse. I saw in the sky a huge ball of fire with lightening coming out of it, and it was heading straight for me. I cried to God, “Oh God, Oh God, save me,” and then there was a huge explosion, as God blew it out of the sky before it could kill me.

I was very surprised to find that there was no hole in the ground, or any damage to the garage. I could hardly believe it, even though I had experienced it with my own eyes.

So, I asked the children who were on the bus with me, “did you see a ball of fire coming out of the sky last night when I got off the bus?” “Yes,” they replied, and also my mother saw the same ball of fire streaking across the sky.
How true is God’s Word when He says, “Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you.”

Also when I was about twelve years of age, I saw a vision of an angel, which glowed with a light which was brighter than the very sun itself. The light did not hurt my eyes, and the angel just stood there smiling at me. It appeared to me one night after I was very distraught, for I heard my mother and father saying that my sister was having an operation and they could loose her.

Well, my sister made a full recovery and now when I look back I can see that God sent one of His angels to reassure me. So you see, if it is needed God will send one of His angels to reassure you as well.

EVANGELIST BILLY BOLITHO AND GWENNAP PIT,

Little did he know what influence this place would have on him.

Gwennap Pit is a large circular depression, probably a partial collapse of an underground mine, about two and a half miles from Redruth. John Wesley a Methodist minister preached to the poor and uneducated miners and fishermen and their families in Cornwall here many times .

The congregation sat or stood on the inclined sides of this pit which was described by Wesley in his journal as being about fifty feet deep and two hundred by three hundred feet across the top.

In his 1781 visit to Gwennap Pit, John Wesley estimated that he had preached to "20,000 people and, the evening being calm, they all could hear," he said.

This is where my mother gave her heart to Jesus when she was a little girl. Her auntie was the caretaker, at that time.

Many times when my mother was a little girl she would run from the top to the bottom and back again, she said I would pretend to preach the Gospel to the people there. It was my Godly mother who planted seeds of faith in me. When I was a boy she would take me to the Whit Monday services which are still held every year at this pit by the Methodist church.

No Respecter of Persons

I was asked to preach in Bethel Pentecostal Church in Redruth Cornwall one very dark stormy night, the wind was blowing and it started to rain profusely {translated into Cornish, it was enting down}. I thought to myself no-one will turn up tonight, well maybe a few dedicated ones, and they did. That evening service I started to preach the word, about the dangers of fortune telling, when all of a sudden the back doors of the church burst open, and the church filled with gypsies, I was very surprised to see so many.

It was strange for me to preach to this type of people, because when I was a boy, I used to live on a farm, and about a half a mile away there were two gypsy camps. I did not get on well with them, they would often steal the halters off my horses, and pick fights with me, I confess I really did not like them.

But, the Lord showed me that night that He was no respecter of persons, I began to preach Jesus to them, and gave an alter call, six of them gave their lives to Jesus that night. One young man was crying because he wanted to be saved, then he too gave his heart to Jesus with great joy. After the service, a gypsy man came and shook my hand and thanked me for the Lord’s word. God certainly showed me that I should not be a respecter of persons, praise God.

COMMANDING ANGELS

Yes, angels play a great part in helping Christians to live in this world; The Lord showed me in a dream vision on how to command angels to make life easier. I was walking in a beautiful garden with God our heavenly Father, He was very tall, I could not see His face but I knew that it was God.

He said to me, “Angels must be sent out with the voice of authority”. He showed me many butterflies in His beautiful garden, and He said, “Tell them to go”. So I said, “go”, just a few took off.

Then He said, “This is not the way”, and He put one of His hands behind Him, and then brought it forward forcefully with the voice of authority, and said “GO”, and a great multitude which could not be numbered took off, then He raised His other hand and repeated, “GO”, another great multitude took flight.

Still He was not finished, then He raised both hands behind His head, then bringing them forward with such force and with a mighty voice of authority, He said, “GO”, and all you could see was butterflies filling the air.

He then turned to me and said, “This is how you must send my angels out before you with the voice of authority”. Many times I have sent these angelic beings out with the voice of authority, commanding them to go in the mighty name of Jesus, and they have never failed to obey, no matter how big or small the task might be, let us always remember that we have a great heavenly host ready to go into action in and through the mighty name of Jesus.

So you see angels are to minister, yes serve us, for we are the heirs of salvation, the chosen ones, and we are to send them forth as the Bible says in {Hebrews 1 v 14}.

The Watchers

In the Bible we come across many names of angels, but, I guess not many of you have heard of angels called watchers. They have a very specific job in God’s kingdom, and that is to proclaim the official orders of the Most High God to man. They are accompanied by other angels called holy ones, who state firmly that man may know that God rules in heaven and on earth, and that God appoints leaders on earth.

For wisdom and might are the Lord’s and He changes times and seasons, He removes kings and raises up kings, He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge of His ways, for the Most High rules in the kingdom of men and gives it to who ever He wants to. You can read about these angelic beings who are the servants of the Lord Most High in the book of Daniel 4 v 13-17.

Shield of Faith

“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked”. {Ephesians 6 v16}.

Do you feel that you are under attack from many directions; you know health, finances, and family problems? Well, do not think that it is strange when you seem to be facing so many troubles, for many Christians who have lived this life before you have faced the same trials and tribulations. Yet they were always able to quench every fiery dart which came their way, by putting their faith in the name of Jesus and His redeeming blood.

Now I myself have been through some very bad times in my life. One particular time I recall when I lay in hospital on my back, unable to move, after a life-saving operation. I began to pray, pleading to the Lord for His mercy, through His name and precious blood.

When suddenly I began to pray in the spiritual gift of tongues, then immediately after this, I prayed the interpretation, you know as it is written in the Bible, “For if I pray in an unknown tongue,
my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also; I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also”. {1 Corinthians 14 v 14 & 15}.

Well, the interpretation goes as follows, “As you have encouraged others, so I encourage you, I will bring you through”. When the Lord Jesus said this to me, my soul rejoiced, and my heart was glad, and I knew that day within my spirit that Jesus would indeed bring me through.

When I think back and see how God has brought me through into full health, I remember the words of Jesus when He said to Simon, “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren”
{St Luke 22 v 31 & 32}.
Isn’t it good to know that Jesus is praying for us that our faith will not fail, no matter what fiery dart is fired at us. May we continue to put our faith in His name and precious blood, for Jesus is always with us and He will never forsake us.

No-one, no-one like my precious Saviour, No-one, no-one such a friend can be;
No-one, no-one like my precious Saviour, Glory, glory, Jesus cares for me.
There’s no-one like my Saviour, Come now, and find it’s true!
He gave His life a ransom, His blood was shed for you;
Then when we reach the city Of everlasting light,
We’ll sing with saints and angels, All Honour, Power and Might.

Some people say that the Apostles teachings, you know the letters of Paul, Peter, James, John etc are not important because Jesus did not say it, so they try to ignore the very fact that God has written the names of the twelve Apostles, on the very foundation stones of the new Jerusalem.

Jesus said to Peter His Apostle endorsing him by saying, “I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it,” {Matthew 16 v 18}. Paul said, “Let Him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you, are the commandments of the Lord,” {1 Corinthians 14 v 37}.

Now we must never forget that Jesus dedicated all His authority to His twelve disciples, He said to them, “Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosen in heaven,” {Matthew 18 v 18}.

For He told them “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”, yes teach all people to obey His commandments. So you see, when we read the letters of the Apostles we must believe that Christ himself is speaking through them to us today.

Let us not demean any of the Holy Scriptures but accept all the teachings of the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation as the very voice of Almighty God for which it is.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness,” {2 Timothy 3 v 16}.

Speak The Word

Jesus defeated satan in the wilderness by speaking the Word of God, He said, “Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”.

Don’t forget Jesus was very weak and hungry; He was at His lowest, that is when satan comes to you saying it is hopeless, you are finished, it is all over. My friend the devil is a liar. David the shepherd boy said,” God delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear, surely He will deliver me from this uncircumcised Philistine {Goliath}.

Surely God will deliver you from your problem, so, shout it out “SURELY GOD WILL DELIVER ME” Jesus said,” “Call upon me in the day of trouble and I will deliver you”.
God said to Israel

If thou shalt say in thy heart these nations are more than I, then how can I dispose of them? If we say our problem is greater than what Jesus did for us at Calvary, then we are not walking in faith. Our problem might be sickness, sin or financial, but whatever it may be, we are to trust God to bring us through.

For the Bible says, “ Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all” So, confess God’s Word, stand on God’s Word and see yourself delivered. The Ark will keep out the water, the Red Sea will part, Goliath will fall, the walls of Jericho will come tumbling down, because Jesus Christ has risen, He has won the victory. So, child of God, have faith, live by faith, for Jesus said,
“I will never leave you or forsake you”.

Simplicity.

I was contacted by a Christian brother recently after sending him some gospel letters; he was so pleased to receive them. As we began to talk he asked me if I would like to visit an elderly pastor whom he was very concerned about, for this pastor was very ill.

While visiting this man, I told him how Jesus had healed me. I anticipated that the Lord would have me pray for healing for him, but after hearing his testimony of his seventy years of walking with the Lord I realized by the witness of the Holy Ghost that he had never made a prayer of repentance.

I then had the privilege of leading him to the Lord, {how good God is} and suddenly he burst out in song, under the power of the Holy Ghost giving praise to God, realizing the simplicity of the gospel which he had missed for so many years.

How strange that you can have religion, and be so knowledgeable in the word of God and yet not have Christ, I guess it makes me think of Nicodemus a Pharisees and ruler of the Jews; whom Jesus spoke to, telling him that “except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God”, {St John 3 v 3}.

This experience reminded me of another time when I was in Cornwall, where I used to hold open – air services. The Lord led me to have a platform built, and also to have Christian musicians to accompany me. I will never forget a memorable occasion when an elderly Methodist lady responded to the alter call. Diane and I prayed for her, and then she to, after a life time of going to church accepted Christ for the first time. Praise the Lord.

Dear Saints, let us not only preach to those outside of the church, for there are many within the church who need to give their hearts to Jesus as well.

Signs of the times.

Dear Saints, these are the signs of the end times that Jesus spoke of, and because we know it then we also know that the Bible warns us of false brethren who come into our churches to see what freedoms and liberty we have in Christ.

You see they are concerned with the material things of this life and they see God’s people as easy pickings so to speak, for that is the whole desire of their covetous, evil hearts. But the Bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of heaven, and all the things pertaining to this life will be added unto us.

Now some people look upon the church and think that we are naive, they seek to take advantage of God’s people by trying to use scriptures from our Lords word to financially gain from us, by twisting the Holy Scriptures they bring God’s Word into disrepute thus causing the truth to be evil spoken of.

So you see by greed and cunning devices they try to extract money from the church of God. In their eyes they think that they are on to a good thing, but their end shall be so awful that we just do not want to think about it.
Jeremiah 48:10. Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully.--

The Bible puts it very strongly that they will bring damnation upon themselves. Dear loved ones, do not listen to people like that, who try to make you uneasy and guilty about your giving, because God loves a cheerful giver, His love remains the same, if you give a little, a lot or even nothing at all, He changes not, He still loves you very much.

That is why we have so much liberty in Christ, for we are led by the Holy Ghost and He doesn’t make it hard for us to follow Him, for Jesus said, “My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” God bless you always.

Sanctified By The Word Of God.

Today we hear of many people saying that this food is good for us, or that food is bad for us. Some say that in the Bible there are foods that God does not want us to eat quoting passages from the Old Testament.

Now I go on the authority of Jesus teachings in the New Testament, where we read that in the last days there shall come people that shall speak lies telling us that we cannot eat many sorts of foods, even though they know that God has created all things to be received with a prayer of thanks, as it is written,

In the latter times some shall depart from the faith “And commanding to abstain from meats which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good and nothing to be refused if it be received with thanksgiving for it is sanctified by the Word of God and prayer,” {1Timothy 4 v 3, 4 & 5}.

Jesus said, “Are you so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive that whatsoever thing from without entereth into man it cannot defile him,” {Mark 7 v 18.} By our Lord saying this, the Bible says that all food is good and nothing is to be rejected, yes, he purged all meats as the Bible says in Mark chapter 7. “What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common”, {Acts 11 v 9}.

This scripture God spoke to Peter when he saw a vision of a great sheet, being let down from Heaven by its four corners; where there were all sorts of animals, he heard God’s voice saying kill and eat. Now, let us exercise the wisdom that God has given us, we are all made differently, some foods may not taste good to some of you, and to others it tastes fine, or some foods may not suit your body, but may be perfectly good for others.

It is your choice what you eat, so, let us conclude, you can eat anything that suits you personally, it is your choice, do not let anyone tell you otherwise, always enjoy your food for it is truly sanctified by the Word of God. God bless you always.

Working for Jesus

Today there is such a great need for Christians to stand together upholding one another in prayer and word. As these days draw in let us remember the words of Jesus, “the night comes when no man can work,” so let us work while we have the light, there is always something that we can do, we still have time.

I am reminded of a hymn, “There is a work for Jesus, humble thou it be,’tis the very service He would ask of thee, go where fields are whitened, and the labourers few, there is a work for Jesus, none but you can do.”

The work of the gospel must go on, even in these difficult days. Now, some churches are not preaching the truth, or caring for their congregations, as they should. I guess many of us have had experience of this, and it is to be expected, for the Bible says, “There shall come a falling away in these last days.”

If you find yourself out of fellowship because the churches which are around you are “dead”, as people say, then visit Christians that you know and share fellowship with them, you will find that a chat and a cup of tea will work wonders, and keep praying and reading your Bible. For you will surely be working for Jesus and encouraging one another, for Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them”.

The True Church

Persecutions of Christians can come in many forms and in different places. You do not have to be in Africa to suffer persecution, it happens right here on your doorstep.

There are many precious Christians here in the United Kingdom that have suffered at the hands of their countrymen, and also at their local churches. Some have suffered horrific persecutions from these so-called churches, who have mocked, embarrassed and excluded them from their local assembles because of their stand for Biblical truth. Also many of them have been abandoned because they have been too ill to attend church.

But thank the Lord that not all churches and fellowships are like that. For during my many years of walking with the Lord I have come to know believers who are the very salt of the earth. They radiate Christ’s compassion, love and mercy as they truly work the works of Christ on this earth.

They will stand by you when everyone else has deserted you, they will come to visit you when you are sick and pray for you fervently, that Jesus will strengthen and heal you. What a great encouragement some Christians are.

I am reminded of the words of our great Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, “For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me”.

Jesus said, “inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Thank God for the true Church. {St Matthew 25 v 35 - 40}

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake:
for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. {St Matthew 5 v 10}.

We Ought To Obey God

When the law of the land challenges the laws of God, we should always obey God, even if it means breaking the laws of the land. The disciples were a great example of this when they were challenged by the authorities of that time, who forbade them to preach in the name of Jesus. The disciples said, “We aught to obey God, rather than men” {Acts 5 v 29}, and we should do the same.

Our allegiance belongs to God first, though the world will try to make you confused by using God’s laws, for example, (you must not tell lies), to make you obey them. For they are very cunning and sly, just like their father the devil. But we don’t have to tell the truth to the devil or to the world, if it means endangering God’s precious, chosen people.

For example we read in the book of Joshua, that the harlot Rahab hid in her house two spies which were sent out by Joshua to spy out the land. So, when she was asked by the king’s men where they were, she did not tell them the truth.

For she hid them and said, “thus there came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were”, and she sent the kings men away in another direction, Joshua chapter 2. If she told the truth to the authorities that she hid them in the roof of the house, then God’s people would have been killed; she was commended by the Lord for this, for God spared her life and those who remained in her house.

Jesus was not naive to the cunningness of the devil, or man, we saw this when satan tried to use the word of God to confuse Jesus. How stupid to think that Jesus did not know what he was up to, for in the wilderness the devil said to Jesus, “Cast yourself off this mountain,
did not God say that He would send His angels, to catch you so that your feet should not be hurt on the stones”. Jesus was wise and He knew the devil would try to use God’s word against Him, but He was not fooled. So let us not be fooled either, by letting the enemy use God’s word against us.

Another scripture that you will find interesting is where Jesus was questioned by His brethren the Jews; they said to Him, “You must go up to the Jewish feast of the tabernacles, for it is now due”. But Jesus knew that the Jews sought to kill Him, so He said “Go ye up to the feast, for my time is not yet full come”, {John 7 v 8}. But when the brethren were all gone to the feast, then Jesus went up secretly also.

So you see, even Jesus used His wisdom, He did not tell them what they wanted to hear, for if He did the Jews would have known where He was and would have killed Him, this was not the time for Jesus to die. Dear Saints, let us use our wisdom when dealing with the world, always let the Holy Ghost show you how and where you must implement God’s truth for we aught to obey God, rather then men.

Jesus is the joy of living, He is the king of life to me; Unto Him my all I’m giving, His forever more to be. I will do what He commands me, anywhere He leads I’ll go; Jesus is the joy of living, He’s the dearest friend I know.

“And as many as were ordained to eternal life believed” {Acts 13 v 48}.

This word which our Almighty God has given to us goes without saying, that if people in this world are not chosen by God, then they cannot be saved. For by God’s grace we are saved through Christ Jesus, who is the gift of God.

Well you may say if this is the case, then how can God find fault with those who refuse to believe, for God has not chosen them. But what right have we to question God? He made some of us for eternal life, but not all, the Holy Scriptures says, that He has also made the wicked for the day of evil.

“The Lord hath made all things for himself; yea, even the wicked for the day of evil”. “Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? {Romans 9 v 21}. & {Proverbs 16 v 4}.

Jesus said, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you”. {John 15:16}.
Now the people whom God has chosen, He has decided to save them through the cross of Jesus, for it pleased God by the preaching of the gospel to save them that believe, that is why Jesus has told us that we must go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. “He that believeth and is baptised shall be saved; But he that believeth not shall be damned”. {St Mark 16 v 15&16}.

Well, you may say these are strong words that Jesus has spoken, but this is how it shall be. Let us always serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear, for our God is a consuming fire as the Bible says.

Let us never take His name or His word lightly, for today we hear of many people taking His Holy name in vain, and I am not speaking about people of the world. For we know that they are ignorant to God’s word and we expect nothing else from them. But when it comes to the church it gives me so much pain to hear of our Saviours name spoken of so irreverently, and jokes about passages in the Bible.

It must grieve the Holy Ghost so much, that He just walks away. Many times during services when they were in full swing, my wife and I have had to walk out, leaving them to their ignorance. Let us always be very sensitive to the presence of the Holy Ghost, for He is God.

If we want His powerful presence today to change lives we must always have reverence with Godly fear, for He has chosen us for salvation in Christ Jesus, and we are ordained to eternal life because we believe and we are chosen.

I thank the Lord always for you all, because God has chosen everyone of you for eternal life and I know that Jesus is praying for all of us who truly love Him and who try our very best to obey His Word. For Jesus said, “I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hath given me; for they are thine”. {St John 17 v 9}.

“According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love” {Ephesians 1 v 4}.

I need Thee, precious Saviour, I need Thee day by day, To fill me with Thy fullness,
To lead me on my way: I need Thy Holy Spirit To teach me what I am,
To show me more of Jesus, To point me to the Lamb

“Behold also the ships which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.” James 3:4.
What a great truth and encouragement this is for us all, we may at times feel very small and insignificant, but God see’s us as a rudder that He can use to guide His church.

Our Lord still uses His twelve disciples to reach entire nations, even today, for the words that He put into their mouths is still heard throughout the whole world, and although sometimes His church seems to go off course, yet these words which were given to His disciples soon puts His church back on course, praise the Lord.

Do you remember how Jesus used a little boy’s basket which contained two fish and five loaves of bread, which He gave to His disciples, who then gave them to the multitudes for they had multiplied? Yes, through His disciples even today He feeds His church, how wonderful our God is.

Now, you may feel very small and insignificant, but if you could only see yourself as God sees you, then you would indeed see that you to can be a rudder on God’s great cruise liner, or you could see yourself with that basket which can feed multitudes.

I am also reminded of a small seed which when it falls to the ground it soon germinates and comes alive and grows up into a mighty oak. So, let us never feel that we are too small for God, for our Lord has always done great things with people who were in this world eyes, as nothing and made them something, praise the Lord.

Just see who our Lord has used in the Bible to touch nations and kingdoms from those who came from such humble beginnings. Moses, a son of a Hebrew slave, King David, from a shepherd boy, St Peter, a fisherman, and St Paul, a humble tent maker, and many more the list just goes on and on. So, you see, we must never feel that we are insignificant, for God see’s us as magnificent, praise the Lord

“For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” 1Corinthians 1:26,27.

Behold I Show You A Mystery

What will we look like when we go to heaven? What kind of bodies will we have? These are the questions that Christians are asking in these last days. Once during a time of severe illness, God gave me a very special dream vision of my glorified body. I was taken to a garden in heaven, where the Lord showed me my glorified body;

I was about twenty two years of age, very radiant in appearance, like an angel of God. I did not look like myself, but I knew that it was me. I had a crown of reeds upon my head and I was sleeping in perfect peace, I noticed that the crown of reeds seemed to be too big for my head, for it slipped down past my forehead, and was just touching the top of my eyes.

I wondered what this dream vision meant, for at the time I was very sick and I thought that I was going to die, but the Lord’s gracious hand was upon me. He revealed to me the interpretation of this dream. The reed which was falling down past my forehead represented eternity, and my body was not yet big enough or completely ready for me, for it still needed more time to grow and become perfected.

And so when the time comes, and the crown of reeds will fit perfectly, then and only then will I leave this old earth for God’s glorious heaven. Soon after this my health began to improve. This blessing from the Lord was one of many blessings which I received from His throne room.

When I close my eyes in this life, I shall awake in this body, for it is written in 1Corinthians chapter 15 v 44, 49, 51 & 52. “There is a natural body and there is a spiritual body. ---And as we have borne the image of the earthly, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly--- Behold I show you a mystery;

We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed.” So dear Christian isn’t it wonderful to know that you and I have been promised by the Lord Jesus, a strong and perfect body.

Changed in the twinkling of an eye, The trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised, Changed in the twinkling of an eye. Oh, the seed that was sown in weakness,
Shall then be raised in power,

And the songs of the Blood bought millions, Shall hail that blissful hour;
When we gather safely home in the morning, And nights dark shadows fly,
What a shouting on the shore. When we meet to part no more,
Changed in the twinkling of an eye.

Children of Promise

“Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise”. {Galatians 4 v 28}.

When God looks at this old world, He no longer looks upon it like He did in the days before His only Son was crucified at Calvary. For Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary gave birth to the new covenant or testament, which He wrote on the hearts of men who accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour.

No longer does He see tribes and races of people as such, for now because of Christ’s sacrifice He sees only the children of promise and the children of the bound.

Let me explain, God states clearly in scripture that the children of God are those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, regardless of race or gender, they are the children of God, yes the children of promise. You see it is written, “And if ye be Christ’s then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to promise”, {Galatians 3 v 29}.

Abraham had two sons, one by a bondwoman called Agar, and another by a freewoman called Sarah, as it is written, now these two sons represents the two covenants. The first son Ishmael of the bondwoman represented Jerusalem, which is now in bondage, which also represents the old covenant, but the freewoman’s son Isaac represents the heavenly Jerusalem, which is the new covenant.

All God’s people are one in Christ Jesus, who are under the new covenant. Under this covenant there is no longer Jew, Gentile, slave or free, men or women, for we are all one in Christ. “For ye are all the children of promise by faith in Christ Jesus”, {Galatians 3 v 26}.

Now God’s plan for the people of Israel is the same plan which He is using for the whole world, and that is that we must all repent and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

There is no other plan for salvation, only through Jesus. Who was crucified for our sins and rose again for our justification, and who is alive forever more. Praise be the wonderful name of Jesus.

As it is written, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”, {Acts 4 v 12}.

As Isaac was, so are we the children of promise, no matter what nation we are from, God considers us all equal and precious in His sight. So precious are we that He sacrificed His only Son for each and everyone of us. So, let us all stand together as, the children of promise.

I would like to state that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and many more in Israel are likened unto an olive tree which also represents the children of promise. We who believe are grafted into that tree, and so we become one with them, and are known as the true Israel of today.

Now today there are still people in Israel who are chosen by God according to election of grace who will be grafted back into the olive tree, which represents the children of promise.

We must pray for them, that they will see Jesus, for it is written, “ There shall come out of Zion the deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: for this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins”, {Romans 11 v 26 & 27}

So dear saints, let us always pray and standby Israel, for I believe that there are many yet to come to know Jesus as their true Messiah. God bless Israel.

Rest in Christ.

We must labour as the Bible says to rest in Christ. The easiest thing to do is to strive by creating our own good works, but if we do we will become so frustrated because we will simply get no where in our service for God. You see our Lord has finished all the works which He has appointed for us to do from the very beginning when He created this world.

On the seventh day He rested from all His work which He had created and made “It was finished.” Now that we have accepted Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of our lives, we have entered into His rest, for on that cross at Calvary, everything was provided for us, and Jesus cried, “It is finished.”

Hebrews 4:9-11. “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God for he that is entered into His rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”

To remain in our Lord’s rest we now labour to do nothing in our own wisdom, we must just rest in God and let Him guide us into all the good works which He has prepared for us to do. The people of Israel in the wilderness had the Word of God just like us, but it was not mixed with faith.

They refused to rest in God’s provision, they continued to disbelieve that God could take care of them. Our Lord promised to feed them, clothe them, heal and save them from all their enemies, yet, they provoked God by their blatant unbelief, in other words they refused to rest in God and let God guide them through the wilderness.

Now we have entered by Christ Jesus into His rest when we accepted Him as Lord and Saviour, and we are to trust Him for all our needs. We must let Christ guide us through this life, not by a fire by night and a cloud by day like the children of Israel, but by His Holy Spirit. For if we let the Holy Ghost teach us, then He will guide us into all truth. You see, God does not want us to worry about anything, for it is God’s good pleasure to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Our Lord just wants to take care of us, for all these things which He has promised in His Word for us already exists, being created in the beginning by Him. So let us just seek peace which is in Christ and pursue it. It really couldn’t be any easier for us, if we only rest in Him. The children of Israel could not enter into the promised land, where God had prepared an unimaginable life of many blessings, which were there for them, because of there unbelief.

Let us not fail to receive God’s blessings which He has for us, by striving and impatience instead, let us have faith, hope, patience and then we will surely have the peace of God which passes all understanding, by resting in Christ.

“Buried with Christ, and raised with Him to; what is there left for me to do,
Simply to cease from struggling and strife; Simply to walk in the newness of life.”

Faith

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.”
{Hebrews 11 v 1}.

For faith is believing in things that we cannot see. Now we must believe that what we have prayed for will soon manifest in our lives, for by faith we will truly receive. Yet some people say, “ but it’s not easy and you don’t know what I am going through,” well, that is true, but it still doesn’t change the fact that Jesus said, “ All things are possible to them that believe,” and we must live by faith. It is worth hoping and believing for things in our lives to change, it really does not matter what people say, or what we feel, for God said, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God”. {1 Corinthians 3 v 19}.

Well, you may say Billy these things that you have written seem to be very foolish, and contrary to civilized people of today, but the Bible says, “That the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men”. {1 Corinthians 1 v 25}.

Dear saints never underestimate the power of our Lord’s gospel. Many people would like to know what you and I know, and see the things that you and I see, surely we are so blessed because we have the Holy Scriptures to tell us who and what we are in Christ.

Yes, we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. May we always have the faith to believe for a better life, for ourselves and our loved ones, for Jesus said, “I have come that you might have life and life more abundantly”. My prayer is that you may indeed have an abundant life in Christ Jesus”.

Prophecy September 07.

The Word of the Lord came unto me in a vision recently, it greatly troubled me as the vision was so specific.

I saw wickedness on the earth which was afflicting man. The Lord showed me that behind every wicked evil sin, sickness, disasters, floods, earthquakes etc, was the work of demonic evil powers.

The Lord showed me that the earth has become vile in every sense of the word. By opening and shutting my eyes I could control how much of the wickedness of mankind I would see in the vision.

Then my attention was brought to a vision of heaven, I saw Jesus Christ flying through the heavens. I saw Him very clearly, He was dressed in white apparel, with a mighty sword raised in His right hand, His hair was black flowing behind Him as He surged across the heavens.

I looked upon His face, it was the face of a mighty warrior, it reminded me of the scripture in Ezekiel 38:18, “Saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.”

Then I saw a gathering of men, which I believe now to be the four and twenty elders who are depicted in the book of Revelation 4:10, who worship Him that liveth forever and ever, who cast their crowns before the throne saying, “Thou art worthy O Lord to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Then they began to peel off one from another, they must have been conversing with Jesus, for then again I saw Christ streaking across the heavens with His sword raised in His right hand, for then I saw summoned before Him priests, multitudes of priests preparing to blow their trumpets, dressed in white garments, and behind them I saw multitudes of other priests quoting the Word of God, and behind them, the armies of heaven, and an angelic army of angels which could not be numbered, assembled for a great battle which was soon to take place.

Then I saw a vision of the earth, of mighty armies preparing to fight a mighty war, in my spirit I believe that they were coming against Israel. I saw huge tanks, and soldiers marching between the tanks, I saw armies upon armies from all nations, marching with their weapons,

I saw soldiers on horse back. Again it reminds me of the scripture in Ezekiel 38:15,16, “And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: and thou shalt come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O gog before their eyes.

Then my vision returned unto the heavens once again, again Christ appeared in the heavens. Then I saw the face of God, not clearly, He summoned His Son, then Christ presented Himself immediately into His presence. Then His Father spoke to Him words that I could not hear, then I saw Jesus turn as if He had received His orders and was ready to give the command for the trumpeters to blow the battle cry.

Do read Ezekiel last days prophecy in ch 38:39. Many Bible scholars believe that this great battle will take place soon, as Russia and its Arab allies prepare to come against Israel, many believe that the rapture will take place during or just after this great event, when Jesus defeats these nations, Christ will let His people know that He is the God of Israel. Ezekiel 38:23, “Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.” "JESUS"

He heard my voice. Jonah said, “I cried by reason of my affliction unto the Lord, and the He heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.” Jonah 2:2.

This reminds me of when Jesus cried unto His Father on that cross at Calvary. He cried, with a loud voice saying , “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” That is to say, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” For the cross was a living hell on this earth for Him.

Now, Jesus Father did answer Him, for the scriptures said of the resurrection of Christ, “That His soul was not left in hell, neither His flesh did see corruption,” well this explains it perfectly. Jesus was not left on that hell of a cross, the cross did not take His life, for Jesus gave up the ghost Himself, after completing the completed work of redemption, by paying for our sins in full.

When Christ cried it is finished on that cross, it was finished, He did not need to go into the pit of hell itself to accomplish anything more, for all was completed at the cross, that is why we believe in the completed work of Christ.

No man could take the life of Jesus, the scriptures say that Christ saw no corruption that means that He never went into the pit of hell, as some people are teaching today, for if Jesus did He would have seen corruption itself.

Now some people are taught that Jesus preached to the imprisoned spirits recorded in 1Peter 3v19, which He did, but the scripture does not say that these spirits were in the pit of hell.

Another scripture which speaks of the crucifixion can be found in Psalm 18, it speaks of the sorrows of death, which surrounded Jesus, and the threat of death, by ungodly men. It speaks of how Christ cried unto God His Father and His Father heard Him.

Then the earth shook and trembled, the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken because God His Father was mad with what they had done to His Son. This Psalm also speaks of how Christ was delivered and that His Father stood by Him, and then His Father brought our Lord into heaven, delivering and rewarding Christ by giving Him a name above all names. At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth.

Philippians 2:9,10, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.”

It is a thing most wonderful, Almost too wonderful to be, That God’s own Son should come from heaven, And die to save a child like me. Oh, it was love, It’ was wonderous love; The love of God to me; It’ brought my Saviour from above, To die on Calvary.

Preaching the Truth

Paul the Apostle stood in the city of Athens, and he was so disturbed to see such a place that had given themselves over to the worshipping of so called gods. The Bible calls this idolatry,
now Paul remembered the Words of God, and he knew where it was written in Exodus 23v13, “And make no mention of the names of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth,” and he was also very conscious of the Word of God where it is written, “Enquire not after their gods, saying how did these nations serve their gods?” {Deuteronomy 12 v 30}.

Yes, he would preach Jesus and the resurrection from the dead to them only, he was wise enough through his knowledge of the scriptures not to be drawn into detailed idolatrous gossip. He said to them for I was walking through your city and I happened to see you worshipping, and I saw a place where there was “an inscription TO THE UNKNOWN GOD, whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him I declare unto you,”

Now what wisdom Paul showed he did not get into great detail with them.
What a privilege to know the truth, that there is only one God and one Saviour our wonderful Lord Jesus Christ. May we continue to proclaim the truth of the gospel as the saints did before us and being very conscious of God’s Word like Paul was and not to be drawn into the worlds idolatrous conversations as we seek to witness for Christ. How Billy became a Christian

I will never forget the time of the Cornish Revival which happened in 1986, it lasted for about 4 years. The churches in Redruth were filled, and many hundreds of people came to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

This is the year that I got saved, for I was seeking the Lord after loosing my father and sister. I was praying to God asking Him, what was the purpose of life.

I did not attend any church, but I believed in Jesus and God, but my life in no way reflected it. I began to read the Bible in those early years, but I could not find peace. One day I was driving past Redruth Baptist Church, when I noticed cars parked outside the church and all the way up Station Hill.

So many people were going to the church which I found very strange. I said to my wife, “I am going to find out why they are going in there.” So one Sunday night I parked my car and prayed to God and said, “ Lord, the only church that I have ever been to is Lanner Methodist Sunday school, and I didn’t like that, but this Baptist church troubles me, but it is your church as well so I will go and see what they are doing .”

When I went in, there was no room, so I had to stand at the back. I had never seen so many people singing and praising God in this way before, the music and singing was so good, and the people’s faces were smiling, they were so happy and friendly. So, I went home and I couldn’t wait to tell Diane what I had experienced that night.

We went back many nights together, it was so good. Then one night Colin Salter the Pastor preached, “Do you know Jesus, have you repented for all the bad things that you have done, and asked Christ into your heart to save you?” Well, I always thought that He was my Saviour, I always believed in Him, but like I said before my life certainly did not reflect Christianity in any way.

You see, every other word that I spoke at that time was a swear word, and my childhood was spent in countless fights, and in my early twenties I borrowed over an hundred thousand pounds from a bank to build a bungalow estate in Fourlanes, the equivalent to a million pounds in today’s money, some of the practices in dealing with banks managers and solicitors were very devious to say the least.

The building trade was a very bad influence on my life, It left me broke and hopeless, I needed Jesus to save my soul. So, that night after church I went out into the fields to pray, I said, “Lord Jesus I am sorry for all the bad things that I have done, come into my life take control, I give my life to you.”

Over the next two weeks I was very troubled, I was sending our children to Lanner Methodist Sunday school for their Sunday school lessons, but Diane and I were going to the Baptist Church. Well, I thought we had better go with our children.

The Methodist Church was very traditional in their worship, but it wasn’t long before revival broke out there as well, and twenty seven members of our family came to know the Lord, and that church became full.

This gave great concern to the nearby landlord of the pub as the overflow from the church encroached on his premises. There was not enough parking spaces for his customers. One Sunday morning the local preacher gave the alter call, he said, “Anyone can come to the front to receive God’s blessing.” Well, the Spirit of the Lord moved on me and said, “Go” Then I heard another voice saying, “You are not good enough, you are a sinner.”

But I had read my Bible, and I knew that it said that Christ came to save sinners, and I was a sinner, and Jesus would save me. It was so hard to stand up. But I did, and as I went to the front of the church my eyes went into tunnel vision,

I knew that I had to get down on my knee’s by the communion rail, tears of repentance filled my eyes, as I felt God’s presence so strongly, and it was there where He baptised me with the Holy Ghost and fire.

Then the preacher said, “What do you want to do for the Lord,” I said, “I want to preach.” I don’t know why I said that, because I had never spoken publicly before and my reading was very poor, but God soon changed that.

I preached my first sermon in Crofthandy Methodist Chapel, which is between Gwennap pit and Billy Bray’s Chapel, which is in Gwennap Parish, it was filled with elderly Methodist ministers and local preachers, who at that time were Godly men who attended prayer meetings and prayed for revival.

Well, I preached in many churches in the Redruth circuit for two years, and was then led by the Lord to preach in the Pentecostal Churches, which has taken me to churches from Penzance to Bournemouth and many parts of the U.K.

I am redeemed, oh, praise the Lord! My soul from bondage free, Has found at last a resting place In Him who died for me! I looked, and lo, from Calvary’s Cross A healing fountain streamed;
It cleansed my heart and now I sing, praise God, I am redeemed! The debt is paid, my soul is free And by His mighty power, the blood that washed my sins away, Still cleanseth every hour.
All glory be to Jesus name I know that He is mine! For on my heart the Spirit seals His pledge of love Divine,
And when I reach that world more bright Then mortal ever dreamed, I will cast my crown at Jesus feet And cry, Redeemed, redeemed!

I’m redeemed! …I am redeemed! … I’ll sing it over and over I am redeemed!
… oh praise the Lord! Redeemed for ever more!
